Intercultural fluency includes the capacity to operate and communicate effectively in different cultural contexts. Individuals who are fluent interculturally exhibit four core sub-competencies:
- Recognize and challenge personal cultural biases.
- Demonstrate curiosity and openness to diverse perspectives.
- Reflect on personal identity and its impact on interactions.
- Work effectively across cultures by incorporating multiple viewpoints.
